TRY IT OUT, 10/14

BOB RIGGS will do a Try It Out hour of dancing as part of our October 14 Mavericks square dance. For non-dancers or folks who would like to get back into the sport, we will do introduction fun stuff from 1:30-2:30, then have our regular dance from 2:30-4:00. Bring your friends, especially those that wanted to go but missed our on our September Try It Out. Lessons should start the third week of October.

Hey All Y’all, Trail Boss Pat McBride is ridin’ in from Grand Junction to call our Cowboys and Rodeo Queens dance on Sept. 23, 2023. DOO DAH DANCE, 4/22/23

CALLER HAL BARNES is returning to call his world famous DOO DAH DANCE! And what is a doo dah, you might ask. Whatever you would like to show and share with the club, be it a special pin, a doily your grandma crocheted, your great granddad’s spurs, a poem you wrote. That being said, HAL WILL HAVE SPECIAL CALL INVENTED JUST FOR THIS OCCASION, A DOO DAH!!! Come out for the fun and to share your treasure.

CLUB MEETING 1/28/23

Before our regular dance on Jan. 28, the Mavericks will have an all club meeting from 12:30-1:15. This is during our usual Pre-rounds time slot, so there will be no pre-rounds. Guests are invited to join us after 1:15 for our 1:30-4:00 dance with HAL BARNES CALLING. THE THEME IS BLACK AND WHITE WINTER, so break out your pretties and come play.
